State Electrical Licensing Requirements

Washington requires certification of all electrical workers. To hire electrical workers, all electrical or telecommunications contractors must have a proper license.

Reciprocity

Washington does not have any reciprocal agreements with other states. In 2009, the Washington Electrical Board withdrew from all reciprocity agreements.
